Q-League blamed for present crises

TAXILA, Jan 6: The rulers have created the crises of power outage, gas loadshedding and flour shortage to divert the attention of masses from the real issues facing the country.

This was stated by the leaders of PML-N while speaking at a public rally at Wah Cantonment on Saturday evening.

Central leader of the party and candidate from NA-53 Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said the nation needed a robust government which could take bold steps to steer the country out of the prevailing crisis it was facing at national and international level.

He said the Q-League government was responsible for the current crisis being faced by the nation. If this party is voted to power again, the country will land in quagmire, he added.

Punjab General Secretary of the party Raja Ashfaq Sarwar said the real issue was holding of a free, fair and transparent elections and alleged that rigging had already been planned in the upcoming elections to benefit the Q-League.

He said the rulers had worked out a conspiracy to create a parliament without Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif being in it.

Mobile shop looted: Two robbers looted a mobile shop at gun point at Anwar Chowk, in the jurisdiction of the Wah Cantonment police station and fled away after firing in the air.

The robbers in the mask with kalashinkovs entered the mobile shop and took the shopkeeper, Zubair, at gun point.

They took away new and old cell phones worth Rs55,000, phone cards worth Rs6,000 and a cash of Rs4,000.

A police team headed by DSP Syed Akbar Abbass reached the spot after the incident. According to police, the robbers snatched a motorbike from a man at Lala Rukh. They came to the shop by this motorcycle, the police added.

The police have registered a case and started investigations.

WOMAN SENT TO DARUL AMAN: A married woman was sent to Darul Aman Rawalpindi by the local court as she had pleaded protection to her life from her in-laws.

Siman Bibi, wife of Miskeen, thorough police pleaded to the court that her life was in danger from her in-laws. Taking action on her complaint, Civil Judge Taxila Jehangir Ahmad sent the women to Darul Aman.
