KASUR, Jan 6: Four people were killed in an accident on GT Road near Pattoki on Sunday.
According to police, Rafiuddin and his family members were going to Pakpattan by a car to participate in the ‘urs’ of Hazrat Baba Farid. A speeding bus hit their car from the back when Kashif, the man in the driving seat, suddenly applied breaks to avoid collision with an oil tanker, which appeared at a U-turn near Khankey Morr. As a result Rafiuddin, his wife Shahnaz, daughter Huma and driver Kashif died at the scene. — APP
