Three Highway officials burnt alive

PINDI BHATTIAN, Jan 5: Three officials of the Highway Department, Hafizabad, were burnt alive when their jeep, they were travelling in, turned upside down and caught fire. XEN Munawar Khan, a sub-engineer whose identity has yet to be ascertained, and driver Munir Ahmed and SDO Abdul Rashid were travelling in an official jeep turned upside down and caught fire near Motorway Interchange. Munawar, unidentified sub-engineer and Munir were burnt alive while SDO Rashid suffered burn injuries and was shifted to Allied Hospital in Faisalabad. — APP
