Golf event postponed
KARACHI, Jan 2: The Pakistan Open Golf Championship scheduled to be held from the 27th to 30th of this month at the Karachi Golf Club has been postponed due to the deteriorating political situation in the country following the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
An official of the Pakistan Golf Federation said on Tuesday the event would probably be held in March and the federation would decide its final dates next month.—Agencies
