SHEIKHUPURA, Jan 2: Five people, including a woman, were gunned down while another sustained injuries in three different incidents in the district on Wednesday.

Reports said that two brothers, Saifullah and Shahzadullah, were shot dead by their opponents in Naukarian village. The deceased were present in the outhouse when their rivals fired at them, killing both brothers on the spot.

A couple was shot dead by their son-in-law over some domestic dispute in Kot Pindi Bag.

Reports said that Ibrahim and his wife Perveen were present in their house when Younus came there and shot dead the couple after exchanging hot words with them.

A landlord was shot dead while his son received serious bullet wounds when their rivals fired at them in Chak 41. Reports said that accused Saghir and Akbar barged into the house of Ibrahim and opened fire on inmates.
