HYDERABAD, Jan 2: A veteran newspaper agent of Dawn Group of Newspapers, Latif Karimi, 60, died of cardiac arrest on Tuesday night.

He has left behind a widow, two sons and two daughters.

He was taken to a hospital but his condition didn’t improve.

His funeral prayers were offered at Maryam Masjid in Memon Housing Society in the morning and he was laid to rest in Tando Yousuf graveyard.

His Soyem will be held at 10am at the same Masjid on Thursday.

Dawn Group officials, relatives, friends, hawkers and agents including Regional Manager (Sindh), Dawn Group of Newspapers, Lachhman Thadhani, Bureau Chief Dawn Hyderabad, Aziz Malik, life chairperson Anjuman Akhbar Faroshan Hyderabad, Syed Afzal Ahmed Shah, president Syed Amir Afzal Shah, general secretary Zahoor Ahmed and others attended his funeral in large number.—BoC
