KARACHI, Jan 1: Seven ships carrying general cargo and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Harmony and Kota Ganteng to unload and load containers, Darya Raag, to unload fertiliser, Sunshine Sky, World Majesty, and Lalazr, oil tankers were berthed after the departure of three.

The three vessels which departed included Jitra Bhum, Breeze, and Nordana Rebecca, while Hacun, Tenth Ocean, Ocean Diamond, Sunshine Sky, Oel Shreyas, Lucky Arrow, Kota Ganteng, and Buldari are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 62,489 tons, comprising 18,226 tons of export tonnage, including 3,858 tons of cement and 44,263 tons of import cargo was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Cap Negro, Hanjin Port Adelaide, Augusta, Hansa Stavanger, Global Prince, with containers and Nobic Oral, with general cargo.
