KARACHI, Dec 29: With winter slowly taking hold, the temperature in the city is further expected to fall in the next 24 hours as the capital city of Balochistan, Quetta, which influences Karachi’s weather, remained in grip of severe cold at below zero degrees.

The met officials said that the minimum temperature recorded in the city on Saturday was 9.5 degrees centigrade and the maximum temperature was 25.5 degrees centigrade, while humidity remained at 23 per cent.

The weather in the city is expected to get colder with the minimum temperature expected to range between 7 and 9 degrees centigrade on Sunday. — Staff Reporter
