Three Benazirs born
SIALKOT, Dec 28: The parents of three newly-born girls have named their daughters after Benazir Bhutto.
According to Sialkot Tehsil Municipal Authority (TMA) officials, the parents contacted them to get their infants registered in the TMA’s record as Benazir Bhutto.
One such parent, Bashir Ahmed, said that he was a diehard supporter of Pakistan People’s Party Chairperson Benazir Bhutto and through naming his daughter after Benazir Bhutto he wanted to pay lifetime homage to his leader. TMA officials said the infants’ names would be registered after a three-day mourning of the late Bhutto. — Correspondent
