NAWABSHAH: Lawyers Boycott courts

NAWABSHAH, Dec 26: The lawyers of Nawabshah completely boycotted court proceedings and took out a rally on Wednesday. The rally was led by Ziaul Hassan Lanjar, general secretary of DBA, Mushtaq Arain vice president, besides Hassan Tariq and Mustafa Korai and others. It started from Bar room and ended at the main gate of the court. The protesters vowed to continue their struggle for the supremacy of judiciary.

Our Hyderabad Correspondent adds: Lawyers boycotted proceedings of courts here on Wednesday on the call of Supreme Court Bar Association against manhandling of SCBA president Aitzaz Ahsan and government’s refusal to let deposed chief justice to offer Eid prayers.

The lawyers didn’t appear before the courts. They are also not appearing before PCO judges of Sindh High Court on the call of SCBA and Pakistan Bar Council. Black flag was also hoisted on bar room as a mark of protest.
