By Our Correspondent

LANDI KOTAL, Dec 25: Adopting a novel way, Lashkar-i-Islam, an armed outfit in Bara, has invited all 23 candidates running for the NA-46 in the area on Jan 3 to present their manifestos before the electorate.

Lashkar’s amir Mangal Bagh on Monday announced on his FM radio that no candidate would be allowed to organise corner meetings and take out procession from Tuesday onwards.

He urged the candidates to prepare their manifestos and deposit Rs50,000 each with the Lashkar shoora before Dec 27.

He said a public gathering would be organised at the Mandi Kas area on Jan 3 where every candidate would be given equal time to present his manifesto.

Mangal Bagh held out an assurance that his organisation would remain neutral in the process of elections.

He said the organisation would also host a lunch for the participants of the meeting.
