MELBOURNE, Dec 19: Master batsman Sachin Tendulkar says he has recovered from the knee problem that kept him out of last week’s Bangalore Test against Pakistan and expected to play in India’s warm-up starting on Thursday against Victoria here at the Junction Oval.
Tendulkar, 34, first toured Australia as a 17-year-old and serenely composed a couple of centuries and, in the second, demonstrated his now-famous powers of concentration against a hostile, four-pronged pace attack in Perth.
On whether he felt his age would be a factor in the coming series, Tendulkar responded: “No, not really.”—Agencies
