BCCI elections

Quetta, Dec 19: A leading importer and exporter, Sardar Mohammad Anwar Jaffar of Progressive Group has been elected unopposed President of the Balochistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Quetta for 2008.

According to results announced by the Election Committee other office-bearers include Essa Khan Kharot Senior Vice President and Jai Kumar Vice President unopposed.

For eight Executive Committee seats those elected unopposed were Haji Foujan, Janan Khan Achakzai, Haji Muhammad Rasool, Noor Ahmed Mengal, Shahid Latif Paracha, Muhammad Yaseen, Muhammad Arif and Essa Khan Kakar.

The BCCI’s Assistant Secretary, Rashid Jaskani announced that the meeting of Annual General Body will be held on December 31.

New office bearers of BCCI would also take charge of their offices the same day.
