ISLAMABAD, Dec 18: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has for the first time named the 12 constituencies of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) for the National Assembly.

These constituencies will no more be designated as Tribal Area I, Tribal Area II, etc., but by their new names.

Following are the new names of the Fata constituencies: NA-36 Mohmand Agency; NA-37 Upper Kurram; NA-38 Central Kurram; NA-39 Orakzai Agency; NA-40 Miranshah; NA-41 South Waziristan Agency; NA-42 South Waziristan Agency at Tank; NA-43 Nawaqi, Bajour Agency; NA-44 Khar, Bajour Agency; NA-45 Landi Kotal, Khyber Agency; NA-46 Bara Sub-Division, Khyber Agency; and NA-47 FR Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, Lakki, DI Khan and Tank.
