Eleven boxers to compete in Olympic qualifiers
ISLAMABAD, Dec 17: Pakistan will send as many as eleven boxers to the Asian Olympic Qualifying Boxing Tournament to be held at Bangkok from Jan 24 to Feb 3.
The players are Abdul Waheed, Nauman Karim, Ali Mohammad, Abid Ali, Mohammad Sajid, Syed Asghar Ali Shah, Dur Mohammad, Maqaddar Abbas, Ahmed Ali Khan, Yasir Javed and Tanveer Shaukat.
Julian Ricardo Gonzalez Cedeno of Cuba will be the coach in the squad while Arshad Hussain will be the assistant. Strong and professional teams from all Asian countries will take part in this tournament. — APP
