PESHAWAR: Reshuffle in bureaucracy

PESHAWAR, Dec 15: The NWFP government on Saturday ordered posting of several officers of various cadres.

According to a notification issued by the Establishment and Administration Department (E&AD), Abdul Jalil Khan (BS-20) has been posted as member services tribunal, NWFP; Mohammad Azam Khan (BS-19) as managing director of Sarhad Tourism Corporation, NWFP; and Mohammad Nasir Khan (BS-19) as senior economist, finance department.

The services of Aftab Mohammad Khan (BS-18) have been placed at the disposal of the Local Government and Rural Development Department for further adjustment. Faiz Mohammad (BS-18) has been posted as district officer (Finance), Malakand and Sher Alam Mehsud (BS-19) as additional secretary, Higher Education Department.

Sajjad Ahmad Jan (BS-19), additional secretary, Higher Education Department, has been transferred and posted as additional secretary, Industries Department.

Another notification issued here said that three officers of PCS (Executive Group) had been promoted to grade 20 on a regular basis. The names of the officers are Fazalur Rehman, Mumtaz Umar and Hussain Zada Khan.—Bureau
