KHAIRPUR, Dec 14: Passengers travelling in a Quetta-bound coach were robbed on Nawabshah-Kumb-Khairpur Road, on Thursday night.

Reports said a coach was on way from Nawabshah to Quetta when eight people embarked it as passengers at Bandhi Bux Stop. After some distance, they took out arms and began looting passengers of their mobile phones, cash, and other valuables. Later they escaped from the scene.

Afterwards passengers staged a protest against the robbery on Nawabshah-Kumb-Khairpur Road near Akri for about one hour.

According to reports coach conductor Gul Zaman informed police of the robbery.
