KARACHI: Withdrawal applications submitted by JI candidates

KARACHI, Dec 14: Around 12 candidates of the Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) moved applications on Friday to returning officers for the withdrawal of their nomination papers from eight National Assembly seats and five seats for the provincial assemblies from Karachi.
The JI candidates who submitted applications for the withdrawal of nomination papers are: Mohammad Hussain Mahanti (NA 252), Asadullah Bhutto (NA 253), Mairajul Huda Siddiqui (NA 245), Muzaffar Ahmed Hashmi (NA 247 & PS 103), Rashid Naseem (NA 246), Taj Mohammad Khan (NA 242), Iqbal Munshi (NA 240), Liaq Ahmed Khan (NA 241), Naseem Siddiqui (PS 102), Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rahman (PS 104), Hafiz Abdul Karim (PS 106) and Javed Ahmed Khan (PS 107).
