TIMERGARA, Dec 13: The elders and PPP workers of Maidan in Dir Lower have expressed concern over reports that the party’s ticket holder for the NWFP Assembly seat of PF-96, Khadim Jan, might be asked by the leadership to withdraw his nomination papers in favour of some other candidate.

At a meeting held in Maidan on Thursday, the elders of the area and the party workers resolved that the PPP supporters would oppose the re-allotment of ticket to some other candidate.—Correspondent
