KARACHI, Dec 13: Wheat flour will be available in the city at Rs16 per kilogram from Friday. This was announced by caretaker Sindh Food Minister Aijaz Ali Shah Shirazi while chairing a meeting of the Sindh food department and office-bearers of the Flour Mills Association on Thursday.

It was decided that all the flour mills in Karachi would set up 142 stalls city-wide where flour would be supplied at Rs16 per kg.

The minister said that there was no shortage of flour in Sindh and poor people would be supplied flour at a cheaper rate.

He said the stalls would be set up in lower-income areas and would remain open from 10am to 5pm. He said details would be published in newspapers about the location of the stalls.—APP
