QUETTA, Dec 12: A hand grenade was hurled on a hostel of the Midwife Training School in Khuzdar and a vehicle of the Frontier Corps escaped a bomb attack in Pir Koh area of Dera Bugti district on Wednesday.
Police sources told Dawn the grenade exploded near the boundary wall of the hostel, destroying windows.
No casualty was, however, reported.
In other incident, some people tried to blow up a vehicle, but the bomb planted by them exploded meters away.
Members of the Frontier Corps cordoned off the area and launched a search for militants. No arrests were made till late in the evening.
