NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Truck driver shot dead

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Dec 11: A truck driver was killed by unidentified dacoits on Bhirya bypass on Monday night.

A truck carrying coal was heading towards Lahore from Hyderabad when at Bhirya bypass four armed men tried to stop it. The driver, Haleem Shah, offered resistance, hence the dacoits opened fire and killed him on the spot.

Bhirya police station officials said that the body had been sent to his native town.

Reports said that police had arrested some men from village Dhouro near Bhirya.
