KARACHI, Dec 11: The launching of Marsia Chothe Sutoon Ka (Elegy of the Fourth Estate) will be held on Wednesday at the Karachi Press Club at 3.30pm.
The book is a collection of the poetry of veteran journalist Minhaj Barna, former president of the PFUJ and chairman of the All-Pakistan Newspaper Employees’ Confederation.
Justice (retd) Wajeehuddin Ahmad would be the chief guest at the function while Dr Farman Fatehpuri would preside.
Among speakers who would highlight the literary aspect of the poetic work include Dr Mohammad Ali Siddiqui, Prof Sehar Ansari, Zahida Hina, Ahfaz-ur-Rehman, Sabhiuddin Ghausi and Iqbal Alavi.
