HYDERABAD, Dec 10: Police removed a plaque put up adjacent to a small park in front of the press club immediately after Justice (Retd) Wajihuddin Ahmed unveiled it here on Monday.

The plaque declared the place ‘Justice Corner’ dedicated to the memory of justices and judges who refused to take oath under Provisional Constitution Order after imposition of state of emergency on Nov 3.

Police took the action immediately after Justice Wajih and members of civil society including lawyers and NGOs’ representatives who accompanied him left the area.
