KARACHI, Dec 10: Five ships carrying containers, chemical and to load cement and ethanol are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Bunga Melati Satu, an oil tanker, Hansa Century, Jitra Bhum, Sinar Bintan to unload and load containers, Ariella to offload DAP fertiliser and Al-Hussani to load cement were berthed after the departure of 10.

The ships which departed were led by Eric G. Gibson, Oel Strength, Ever Gentle, Kapitan Byankin, Bunga Delima, Soon Fu, Ikan Altamira, Sen Princess, Jo Sycamore and Orhan Ekinci, while Hanin, Virginia, Aiud, Hansa Century, Jitra Bhum, Wan Hai-301 and Sinar Bintan are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.164m tons comprising 60,584 tons of export cargo and 0.104m tons of import tonnage was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Sinar Agra with chemicals, Swat with crude oil, Chemway Lara to load ethanol, APL Shenzhen with containers and Pacific Arrow to load cement.
