PESHAWAR, Dec 9: Commander of the US Special Operations Command Admiral Eric T. Olson visited Peshawar and called on Commander of 11 Corps Lt-Gen M. Masood Aslam on Sunday.

According to an ISPR press release, they discussed matters of professional interest.

The US commander was apprised of the peculiarities of the tribal region, including measures taken by security forces to protect the western borders in the ongoing campaign against terrorism and extremism. He was also briefed on development schemes in Fata.
