HYDERABAD, Dec 8: PPP leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim has said that he and Senator Safdar Abbasi have discussed seat adjustment with JUI (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

Speaking to journalists after inaugurating an election media cell here on Saturday, he said that Benazir Bhutto had discussed the issue of provincial autonomy with Mehmood Khan Achakzai and Dr Abdul Hayee Baloch during recent meetings.

“She had assured the two nationalist leaders that her party would raise the issue in the new parliament,” he said.

About Nawaz Sharif’s statement holding the PPP responsible for a lack of consensus on the charter of demands, he said, he would not criticise Nawaz Sharif and his party.
