Nato attacks Taliban bastion
LASHKAR GAH (Afghanistan), Dec 8: US, British and Afghan troops were fighting in a major operation on Saturday to capture Musa Qala, the only sizeable town controlled by Taliban.
US troops moved close to the town by helicopter on Friday to begin the attack as British forces approached by land.—Reuters
