ISLAMABAD, Dec 8: Caretaker Minister for Environment, Local Government and Rural Development Syed Wajid Hussain Bukhari on Saturday directed Pakistan Environment Protection Agency (Pak- EPA) to devise a mechanism to control vehicular emissions and constitute a committee for implementation of the Euro standards.

Chairing the third consultative meeting on Environment Quality Standards (NEQS) at Pak-EPA, Mr Bukhari called for setting up a cell in the agency to monitor compliance of Euro-II standards for new vehicles and implement emission standards for in-use vehicles.
