SIALKOT, Dec 6: People are suffering because of flour shortage in the city and its suburban towns, but the district administration has taken no steps to ease the situation.
Retailers say mills are supplying them flour bags in a limited number, but on inflated rates. They say mills are giving them a 20kg flour bag for Rs305 instead of Rs280 — the official rate. They say hoarders are selling 20kg flour bag for Rs340 to Rs360.
