MIRAMSHAH, Dec 5: An Afghan national was killed and two soldiers and two civilians were wounded in separate attacks on houses and a security camp in Mirali tehsil of the North Waziristan Agency on Tuesday night.

Officials said that miscreants attacked a paramilitary forces’ camp in Mirali tehsil. They said that some 20 rockets were fired on the camp and the area reverberated with loud explosions. Two paramilitary soldiers were injured in the attack were shifted to the military hospital.

Security forces retaliated and started shelling. Several houses came under attack in the surrounding areas. A shell hit a house in the locality, killing an Afghan national while a woman and her son received injuries.

Our correspondent adds from Khar: Miscreants fired four missiles at the Bajaur Scouts camp near Khar, the headquarters of the Bajaur Agency, early Wednesday morning.

Sources said that missiles landed near the camp while a power supply tower was damaged. The scouts retaliated. No casualty was reported.

Meanwhile, a rocket was fired at the government slaughter house in Khar on Tuesday night partially damaged the infrastructure.
