By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, Dec 5: Two universities and two medical colleges will soon be set up in Balochistan.

This was announced by Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani while addressing the third convocation of the Balochistan University of Information Technology and Management Sciences on Wednesday.

Over 350 students were awarded graduate and post-graduate degrees in five disciplines. The governor also awarded gold medals to position-holders.

“I have signed the ordinance for setting up a medical university in Balochistan,” Mr Ghani said. He said that the new medical colleges would be set up in Loralai and Khuzdar.

HAIRBEYER’S ARREST: Talking to newsmen after the convocation he said: “I’ve also heard the news about the arrest of Hairbeyer Marri in London by Interpol, but it has not been confirmed officially”.
