Berth occupancy rose to 90 per cent at the wharves where nine ships, Nedlloyd Africa, Socotra, Zabrjad, Don bass, Bernice, New Toyokaze, Archangels, Al-Farabi and Kaghan, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, rice, edible oil, crude oil, chemicals and iron ore.

A volume of 141,000 tons comprising 95,000 tons of import and 46,000 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Yick Hua, New Toyokaze and Socotra left the port, while Nedlloyd Africa was due to depart.
