QUETTA, Dec 4: A soldier and a militant were killed and three militants were injured in Dashat area of the Turbat district and in Quetta on Tuesday.
According to sources, militants opened fire on a vehicle of security forces patrolling Dashat area.Security personnel returned fire. An armed man, Saddat Marri, was killed and two security men were injured. Two armed men were arrested.
Armed men opened fire at a checkpost of the Frontier Corps and the Balochistan Constabulary on the Monojan road. An FC soldier and a BC personnel were injured. The FC soldier later died.—Staff Correspondent
