KARACHI, Dec 4: Ferozabad police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested four members of a gang allegedly involved in several cases of robberies and kidnapping.

The police said they acted upon a complaint of a local advertising company that four armed robbers took away all the equipment worth Rs3 million from its office after holding its guard hostage on Nov 26.

According to SPO Ferozabad Qasim Ghori, the robbers had offered to provide the company with the data against Rs3 million. He said that the company officials had agreed to strike a deal with the gang while the police kept monitoring their telephonic conversations.

“We finally managed to arrest all the four accused when they came to receive the amount from an area in Block-2 of Gulshan-i-Iqbal,” he said. The police had already registered an FIR against accused Bilal, Hanif, Noor Alam and Nasir..
