KARACHI, Dec 2: A businessman was shot dead by unknown assailants in the small hours of Sunday while he was returning home after closing his public call office in Saddar.

Sher Mohammad, 40, running a PCO near Empress Market in a shop attached to a food outlet of his relatives, was on his way home when a couple of gunmen riding on a motorbike opened fire at him and rode away.
