Bureau Report

HYDERABAD, Dec 2: Hashat Mand alias Malang Baba appealed to the government on Sunday to compensate him for his seven-storey 60-room building, cattle heads, a general store, a godown and a medical store which he claimed were completely destroyed in rocket attacks on Montresar village in Swat.

Malang Baba who is a contractor at Lakhra coal mines said at a news conference at the press club that he had been with Aziz coal mines for past 15 years.

His family left the village for Puran after their house where his brothers and family members were living was completely destroyed and after some time went to Boner to escape the bombardment. Finally the 35 members of his and his brothers’ families came to him and were forced to live with him in Labour Colony of Lakhra coal field.
