Five human smugglers held
GUJRANWALA, Dec 1: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested five human smugglers, including an alleged proclaimed offender, in raids here on Saturday. The FIA Gujranwala received information that wanted smugglers were present at their homes. FIA officials raided their homes, arrested them and later identified them as Muhammad Iqbal, Rana Muhammad Ashraf, Zulfiqar Ali, Zahid and ‘proclaimed offender’ Pervaiz Munir.
FIA officials said the accused made millions of rupees by illegally sending several people to Greece who were later deported by the Turkish government. — Correspondent
