CHITRAL, Dec 1: The Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP) has launched five integrated projects in the district, including drinking water supply, sanitation, street pavement and imparting bee-keeping training to women, at a cost of Rs16 million.

Talking to Dawn on Saturday, SRSP’s regional programme coordinator Saleem Shah said that three projects had almost been completed while the rest would be completed soon.

He said the organisation had also initiated work on power generation and had spent Rs12.8 million so far on the completion of six micro-hydel power stations in various villages of the district.—Correspondent
