MIRPURKHAS: Action against absentees

MIRPURKHAS, Dec 1: EDO agriculture Mirpurkhas, Ghulamullah Jarwar paid surprise visits to different offices of agriculture department and found various officials absent from duty.

In a handout issued here on Saturday, the EDO agriculture directed to stop the salaries of absent officials including ten field assistants, two agriculture officers, two clerks of on-farm water management and a junior clerk of forest department. He also directed departmental action against them.

PEACE-LOVING: Two Canadians, Ms Judy Norbury and her husband Mr Rass said that Sindh is the land of peace-loving people. They were speaking as chief guest at a ceremony held at Gulistan-i-Mazooreen centre here on Saturday under aegis of Mirpurkhas Special Sports and Welfare Association.
