Two lawyers to withdraw nominations

LAHORE, Nov 30: The lawyers, associated with the Jamaat-i-Islami, who are contesting the general election have announced withdrawal of their nominations.

Hafiz Abdur Rahman Ansari and Ziauddin Ansari, both lawyers and candidates for NA-118 and NA-119, respectively, will withdraw their candidatures on Saturday (today).

Ziauddin told a news conference that the decision was in line with the directions of the All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) as well as the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC).—Staff Reporter
