Ex-CM foresees coalition in Sindh

LARKANA, Nov 30: Sindh province will not have a single party government after elections but combination of many, predicted former Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim.

He was talking to journalists on Friday after holding talks with Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro General Secretary MMA and the JUI Sindh at Madrisah Ishatul Quran. He said fight between the PML and the PPP will be witnessed in coming polls. The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the PML-F are allies in Sindh, he said.

He claimed to cross old record of victory in Sindh in elections and hastily said differences between the PML and PML-F over seats would soon be settled.

He criticised the APDM’s stand of staying away from elections and lauded Maulana Fazulr Rehman for contesting. He appreciated Ms Benazir Bhutto’s decision to participate in polls.

He said Rasool Bakhsh Palijo and Dr Qadir Magsi could never return to assemblies and demanded of the government to ban political parties getting less then 10 seats.
