235 medical graduates pass NEB exam


ISLAMABAD, Nov 28: A total of 235 students, who had graduated in medicine and dentistry from foreign universities, passed the National Examination Board (NEB) equivalency examination.

The examination is conducted biannually to access professional competence of applicants before registration is granted by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).

Only graduates of World Health Organisation (WHO) listed medical or dental institutions are considered eligible for the exam.

In all, 448 medical and 11 dental candidates appeared in the in the registration written examination (Theory) of the National Examination Board of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) held on Wednesday in Islamabad.—Our Reporter
