Tribesmen gunned down

QUETTA, Nov 27: Armed men gunned down three Marri tribesmen in the Tali area of Sibi district during an operation conducted by security forces looking for illegal arms and ammunition.

According to official sources, the tribesmen were helping the security personnel on Monday evening when they came under fire. Security forces returned the fire but the assailants escaped from the area. No arrest was reported.

Meanwhile, a powerful blast took place in the Spni road area near the Ayub Stadium. A home-made device was used for the blast. No loss of life or damage to property was reported.

According to police sources, some people hurled a hand-grenade on the house of one Doctor Mohammad Fahim in Khuzdar. The grenade exploded in the courtyard.
