KHAIRPUR, Nov 27: Former District Nazim Nafisa Shah and District Bar Association General Secretary Abdul Qayoom Shaikh have condemned police raid at the residence of DBA treasurer, Ms Khursheed Abbas Dasti, in Thari Mirwah late on Monday evening and arrest of her two brothers.

Ms Nafisa Shah said that this was the first political victimisation in Sindh after announcement of general election schedule. She added that Ms Dasti was being harassed for the last couple of days. She regretted political victimisation of a woman lawyer.

The General Secretary of DBA Khairpur said that harassed woman lawyer had defeated a ruling party candidate in the DBA elections with a big margin.
