NBP Junior Hockey Cup from tomorrow

KARACHI, Nov 26: The fourth edition of NBP Junior Hockey tournament will be held at the Hockey Club of Pakistan from Nov 28, Organizers announced at a news conference on Monday.

Country’s top outfits including PIA, Customs, Army, NBP, KESC and couple of other teams are expected to take part in the event.

NBP, while also sponsoring the competition, is defending its title in the week-long gala which will be played on single league basis.

A prize money of Rs 100,000 will be at offer in the tournament.

Winner will get Rs.40,000, runners-up grab Rs.25,000 and third place team will collect Rs.15,000.

Javed Iqbal will be the Tournament Director and Haji Younus Siddiqui will be umpires manager.—Agencies
