KARACHI, Nov 26: Eight ships carrying palm oil, chemicals and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves maintained on the higher side where eight ships, Satha Bhum, Oel Strength, Mol Admiration to unload and load containers, Red Sea Spirit and Pacific Arrow to load cement, Banglar Mookh to load general cargo, Lalazar and Aquidneck to unload crude oil and soyabean oil respectively.

Sailing was also active as 10 vessels including Soon Fu, National Glory, Grigroussa-1, Eric G. Gibson, Zang Za San Chong Nyon Ho, Kapitan Byankin, Lucky Arrow, Emirates Kiran, Ocean Strength and Fair Chem Colt departed on Monday, while Arcadia, Mol Admiration, Norsia Alps and Yong-An-2 are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.244m tons comprising 54,906 tons of export cargo including 11,800 tons of cement and 2,338 tons of rice and 0.190m tons of import cargo was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Oak Galaxy with 7,000 tons of palm oil, Moyra with chemicals, St. Irene, Mir Damad, Bunga Terasek and APL Amman with containers, TPC Wellington with coal and Klam Pengorg with project cargo.
