Five held with 175kg heroin
FAISALABAD, Nov 24: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested five drug pushers and seized 175 kilograms of acetic anhydride powder used in heroin production from a house in D-Type Colony here on Saturday.
Sources said that on a tip-off the ANF team, headed by Jehangir Khan, raided Sohail Abad’s house and recovered the illegal powder worth Rs3 million in the local market. The powder was concealed in different packets.
The team arrested drug pushers, including three brothers, Sharafat, Zulfiqar and Arshad. A case has been registered against the accused.—Correspondent
