Two bombs defused

By Our Correspondent

MANSEHRA, Nov 24: The Battagram police on Saturday defused two remote-controlled bombs in the Pashora area, where an army convoy had been attacked last week.

Reliable sources said the bombs had been planted beneath stones along a main highway in the Pashora area, some 3km north of the Kass bridge.

Last week, two soldiers had been injured in a grenade attack on an army convoy, going to Shangla, in the same area.

Sources said that after receiving information, police and the bomb disposal squad visited the place and defused the bombs. The devices were sent to Abbottabad for further investigations.
