SHIKARPUR: Two killed in clash

SHIKARPUR, Nov 24: Two persons were killed and three others received serious bullet injuries in an armed clash between Mahar and Jatoi tribesmen near village Sherkot, in the jurisdiction of Lakhi police station on Saturday.

Illahi Bux Kharos Jatoi and Ali Murad Kursi Jatoi were killed while Manzoor Ahmed Mahar, his 10-year-old son Naseer Ahmed and Imran Mahar received serious bullet injuries in the clash.The motive behind the clash is said to be the ongoing Mahar-Jatoi tribal disputes.

No FIR was registered till the filing of this report.

CONDOLENCE MEETING: The journalists of Shikarpur have expressed grief over the murder of a correspondent of Daily Jang, Zubair Ahmed Mujahid, by some terrorists in Mirpurkhas on Friday.
